This group page is designed to inform those looking to improve their bodies through Balistic and Velocity based training. Each week there will be a new exercise put on to the page.
A "Balistic" movement is as it sounds. This movement has some type of "high powered" "explosive" quality to it.
A "Velocity" movement is just that. A person will take a weight or even their own body weight and drive it into the air with control and power.
GREAT example of a balistic move is the "power push-ups." These are the push ups where you basically blast yourself above the ground, catch yourself and throw yourself back into the airin a smooth rythmic act.
An excellent velocity is the "snatch." Taking a weight (whether it is a straight bar or a dumbell) and throwing it up to your chest, with a quick swinging action.
Along with adding a different exercise I will also give you the link online to go look up the proper form and how to correctly perform each movement. There will also be pictures provided.
