OzzieOcean If you go to Loblaws they have chicken nuggets that are breaded in whole grains in the shape of boats, cars and planes. They are a much better option that most nuggets, and since they are cool shapes, he might try eating them.
Flax pasta also has quite a nice amount of protein, my kids love pasta in tomato sauce, and they have no clue I am using flax and whole wheat pasta.

LadyLisa I have tasted soy juice before by accident and I loved it, they come in 1 litre containers just like apple juice and orange juice, you could also try that...:)

PureCanadian My son Aidan is 8 and although my husband and I eat healthy, Aidan is getting pickier about his diet. He no longer eats meat, unless it's a hotdog or hamburger (which we do not cook very often). So every night at dinner, he will eat primarily veggies and fruit and maybe some rice or pasta. I'm happy about his love for fruit and veggies, but a little worried about the lack of protein in his diet. We tried tofu, beans, eggs, but he won't eat them. Any ideas on how I can get other forms of protein into my vegetarian child? Is milk enough?

onestrongman In my house the one who cooks the meal gets to select what is on the menu. And because we like to eat well and healthy our food bill is higher than most families.
