Obie Crista, try throwing some plyometrics to change up her lifting. You can superset them with her other exercises that she is doing. Just make sure to mix both lower body and upper body plyo's into her workouts.

crista Thanks...she is dedicated i just feel since I have now seen her for 6wks 2 times a day that sometime I think I have no new ideas left for her. she get bored easily and I want her workouts to be effective and fun. 975 of what we do it all abs or core related. I don't neglect the other body parts, it is just as a gymnast (she is) that is our focus.

kettlebell27 crista, since you can only control what happens in 2x during the week, your best advice to give her is to put her in control of what happens outside of your time with her. I take it your client is pretty committed to the competition aspect of this. I'm sure you've gone through her entire week of activities she does. Might I suggest doing some phone consultations and/or email contacts to keep up with her progress? If you see her 2x a week, like say on Monday & Wednesday, have her call you Friday to see what the weekend will bring, and counsel her on anything extra she can do if there's any roadblocks to her training schedule. Little things like this can make a big difference, it did with me for my business, and its why I named my business "Speed Dial Coach", so my clients knew they could have me 'on speed dial' with their phone, to work out any type of work arrangements. Just a suggestion.
