envy2428 Hi....I take l-glutamine pre and post workout. 5 grams pre and 5 grams post....I feel like it really helps me with my muscle soreness, and with muscle repair and recovery....Some people even take 5 grams upon waking and 5 grams at bedtime. I would say start out slow and begin taking it post workout if u want.....and then gradually add from there if you need to.

PureCanadian Hey, I just joined the site and looking forward to learning from all of you! I don't have a workout partner at my gym so this community is perfect for me to stay inspired - Here's my current workout:

On weight days, I do 4 sets of 15, 12, 10 and 10 reps - Circuit style with 5 minutes of skipping after each set. I follow up every weight workout with 15 minutes of intervals on the treadmill. I'm usually pretty drenched by the time I'm done:) Here's my routine...

Day 1: Chest, Shoulders, triceps
Day 2: Back, Biceps, Abs
Day 3: Legs (or ouch day as I like to call it)
Day 4: Cardio (1 hour)
Day 5: Same as Day 1
Day 6: Same as Day 2
Day 7: Rest
I'll begin the next week with Legs and so on...

So here's a question for my fellow gym rats: I'm considering adding Glutamine to my daily supplements. Do any of you take/know about this supplement? What are your thoughts? Any words of wisdom?

prosser3 Another really good way to burn is doing cardio, with intervals. go as fast as you can for only about 30sec. to a min., then slow right down where your barely moving, stay at this pace just long enough for your hard rate to lower back down to norm. then get right back going hard again for another 30sec. to a min.

prosser3 If you want to just cut those last few annoying pounds. I recommend Turbulence training, Super sets, and Kettle bell movements.
