hey exsquaddie... I'm from PA, near harrisburg kinda... We're going to put in a system where you can tag tips that you post to groups. So, for example, if I post a tip that has to do with boxing, I can tag it to this group and it will show up in the list of tips on this group's page. Once we add the workout section you will be able to tag workouts to this group as well. We're trying to get everything out as soon as we can, supplements is the first to come out, and will be out early next week.

I train on a heavy bag that we have devised in my neighborhood by putting pillows and stuff on a tree. My trainer teaches me basic heavy strikes from kyokushin. He is a bouncer with real street experience..
Glad you made the group. We could share ideas here.

I thought this would be brimming with people by now, suppose it early days wat with i beng a new site....so johNeSpO, how long have you boxed / trained for and whats your style! Im pretty much small and stocky so im more of a fighter.....because i have short arms i pretty much fight asmuch as i can on the inside! I have alot of core strength because of the way im built so am really good at hurting the body, which then takes the bounce out of your oponents legs, then brings down the hands, which then opens up everything else....boxing is really a science and not just two guys taking shots at eachother. I use the heavy bag alot for stamina building and when im doing body shot rounds (ie when im doing primarily in fighting rounds only).

Yeah i boxed amateur, not competiton wise a long time now, did a bit in the army too but didnt carry it through cos if your good at somethin in the army they make it your main thing, i loved it when it just your own goals that make you do the early morning runs and the intensive circuits so i packed it in but still keep my hand in at the local gym.....where are you from ryan ?
