PureCanadian I usually bring two work 2 individual ziplocked portions of whey protein powder, each with a tsp of beepollen and ground flaxseed. I'll throw one in my water bottle between meetings and voila....instant meal on the go. I'm also a huge fan of almonds when I need a "crunch" fix.

Carina I just started eating Clif bars myself after trying them for the first time at a 5K run. They are actually really good! I've tried so many other brands and found them all to be pretty nasty-tasting. There is nothing like a "real" meal but when I'm short on time, these Clif bars have saved me!

onestrongman Hi Dave, I have tried Myoplex products. They taste pretty good. I recently have been eating the CLIF BUILDER'S bars which contain 20 grams of soy and nut proteins, and unlike other protein bars, they contain no trans fats or hydrogenated oils. http://www.clifbar.com/food/products_builders/

davegleason Myoplex shakes, fruit, almonds work for me.

onestrongman Speaking of food on the run, what snacks do people commonly eat between meals?

Carina I'll have to check out that Greens plus.... we all tend to lead such busy lives that sometimes it's hard to find time to cook every meal. If I can get a full meal in the form of a shake, that'd be great. Thanks for the info!

albert Greens plus is what it is called. You can find it in health food stores everywhere. They are a variety of flavours, but I recommend NOT getting the original flavour, unless you can stomach it. I use berry flavour, which tastes really good.

Carina If you don't mind me asking, what is "greens"? That shake sounds really good and yah, it does sound like a complete meal.

onestrongman That sounds like a good meal replacement espeically if you are on the go and you think to plan ahead. What do you use for greens?
